Opportunities to include contingencies in mediated settlement agreements are rare, but should be considered in appropriate circumstances. A contingent agreement lowers the risk of non-compliance, decreases the odds of litigation and reduces the need to renegotiate terms.*
For Jews, this year the period between Monday, September 10, the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Wednesday, September 19, Yom Kippur, is known as the Ten Days of Awe.
